The health and safety coordinator (SiGeKo) is a key figure in occupational health and safety on construction sites and makes a decisive contribution to the safety and health of all employees on site.
According to the Construction Site Ordinance (BaustellV), the client is obliged to appoint one or more health and safety coordinators if several employers are active on the construction site.
In order to best prepare you for your role as a health and safety coordinator, a sound professional qualification is essential. At the HIRAcon Academy, you will learn from experienced instructors who have decades of practical experience in the field of construction site safety. For a small additional charge, you can also purchase the SiGeKo Plus basic folder to help you get started as a SiGeKo.
As SiGeKo you have the following tasks and duties, among others:

Coordinating and monitoring compliance with safety measures on the construction sit

Creation and updating of the SiGe plan

Advising those responsible for planning with regard to construction site safety
Taget audience
Qualification as a S&H-Coordinator in accordance with RAB30 Annex B&C requires participants to be suitable in accordance with RAB30 Annex A.
Accordingly, persons wishing to qualify as a health and safety coordinator must have previous knowledge of construction.
The course is therefore aimed at engineers, architects, construction planners and other persons with previous construction expertise.

Completion
After passing the written final examination, you will receive the official, nationally recognised certificate of participation from the HIRAcon Academy.
Recognition
The SiGeKo course at the HIRAcon Academy is recognised as an official training event by the NRW Chamber of Architects.
Number of participants
The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 16.

You can choose between attending the course in person or via a web seminar. We also offer the course as an in-house seminar at your premises.

Funding through the employment agency
The participation fee may be covered by the relevant employment agency as part of a measure for jobseekers or employees threatened by unemployment.
Unfortunately, the Federal Employment Agency has changed the requirements for conducting the training in various cities.
Therefore, participants subsidised by the employment agency can only take part in the face-to-face seminars in Neuss, or alternatively via web seminar.
