SiGe-Koordination Planungsphase

Safety & Health coordination in the planning phase

The health and safety coordinator (SiGeKo) is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all employees on the construction site and acts as an extension of the client.
According to the Construction Site Ordinance (BaustellV), the health and safety coordinator must be appointed during the planning phase so that all aspects relevant to the safety of employees can be taken into account when planning the construction project and appropriate safety measures can be implemented in the planning.
The SiGeKo acts proactively, i.e. he actively approaches those responsible for planning in order to ensure legally compliant planning from a safety perspective.

HIRAcon offers all services in accordance with the Construction Site Ordinance and beyond for the planning phase of your project:

SiGe-Koordination Ausführungsphase

Safety & Health coordination in the execution phase

Compared to most other working environments, construction sites harbour the highest risk potential.
To ensure the safety and health of employees during the execution or construction phase of your construction project, it is therefore essential to appoint an experienced health and safety coordinator to coordinate all safety-related measures.
A good health and safety coordinator uses informative and coordinating measures to ensure that sources of danger are identified at an early stage and subsequently eliminated or minimised. This not only
prevents accidents at work, but also favours smooth project progress.

HIRAcon offers all services in accordance with the Construction Site Ordinance and beyond for the execution phase of your project:

Security monitoring (additional service)

In addition to the safety coordinator for the execution phase, we offer you the option of appointing one or more safety supervisors to act as the operational eyes and ears of the health and safety coordinator.
The safety supervisor can be deployed continuously or during certain construction phases and at certain construction stages, depending on your individual requirements. He will be on the construction site at all times during the period you require and will ensure that the safety specifications of the health and safety coordinator are adhered to by all those involved on the construction site. The safety supervisor can also intervene directly in an emergency and take over emergency management.

The safety supervisor is responsible for the following tasks:

  • Supervision and monitoring of the safety guards and contractor employees

  • Preventive intervention in the event of dangerous work

  • Checking the equipment

  • Permanent safety inspections and supervision

  • Identifying dangerous situations

  • Firefighting with small extinguishing agents in the event of a fire

  • First aid in the event of an accident

Fremdfirmenkoordination nach DGUV V1

External company coordination in accordance with DGUV V1

The contractor coordinator plays a crucial role in the safe and smooth cooperation of several companies on a company site or construction site. Their main task is to coordinate and monitor contractors to ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with the applicable safety regulations and standards.
By analysing risks, monitoring compliance with safety measures and documenting relevant information, the external company coordinator plays a key role in minimizing accidents and health risks when several companies work together and ensuring a safe working environment for everyone involved. As a central point of contact for questions and concerns from external companies and as a link between the various parties, the external company coordinator also promotes effective communication and cooperation on the construction site.

Our external company coordinators take on all tasks in accordance with DGUV V1:

  • Determination of the required work processes and creation of a work process plan

  • Definition of areas with particular hazards

  • Coordination of safety measures before work begins

  • Definition of measures in the event of disruptions

  • Checking work processes and compliance with safety measures and adjusting if necessary

  • Intervention in the event of non-compliance with safety measures

  • Informing the client & contractor about changes to plans
