Training information

Since operating cranes often involves lifting heavy loads over people and property, it is in the best interest of everyone involved that the person operating the crane receives the best possible training in crane operation beforehand.
Cranes are among the pieces of equipment with the highest risk potential, and the requirements for crane operator training are correspondingly high.
Training your crane operators through the HIRAcon Academy allows your employees to learn from practitioners with many years of experience. This ensures that the risk to people and property when using loading cranes is minimized.
The HIRAcon Academy’s training program, recognized throughout Germany, complies with the requirements of DGUV Guideline 309-003 and is conducted as a one-day course, including a practical exam, at your facility.

Training information

Our training consists of the following topics:

  • Legal Framework

  • Types of Cranes and Their Construction

  • Safety Devices

  • Physical Principles

  • Load-Lifting Devices

  • Load Transport / Crane Operation

  • Maintenance and Inspection

  • Operational Malfunctions and Emergencies

  • Practical Training

  • Theoretical and Practical Exam

Completion

Upon successful completion, all participants will receive a certificate of participation from the HIRAcon Academy, which serves as proof of qualification in accordance with DGUV-G 309-003.

Duration

1 day, approx. 8 hours

Number of participants

The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 16 per training session.

Seminar fee

A base fee of €1.260 plus VAT (including 6 participants) will be charged for conducting the in-house training.
If there are more than 6 participants, you will receive a customized quote.
