As a direct subordinate of the occupational safety specialist, the safety officer (Siba) makes a significant contribution to the safety and health of all employees in the respective business premises. According to statutory regulations, every employer is obliged to appoint a safety officer as soon as more than 20 employees are regularly employed in their company. In companies with particular risks to life and health, the accident insurance institution can order that safety officers must also be appointed for companies with fewer than 20 regular employees. As a direct contact for safety issues, the Siba is an important part of occupational health and safety and makes a significant contribution to the health and safety of all employees.
A sound professional qualification is essential for safety officers to carry out their duties. At the HIRAcon Academy, you will receive first-class training from experienced instructors who have many years of practical experience in the fields of occupational safety, health protection and construction site safety.
As Safety officer you have the following tasks and duties:

Identification of safety-related defects and health risks

Eliminating/ informing superiors about deficiencies and health risks

Participation in company inspections and accident investigations

Help employees to implement occupational health and safety measures

ensure the presence, proper condition and use of personal protective equipment

Management of the work equipment register

Im Seminar (SEM) findet das Lernen und der persönliche Austausch auf Basis der Handlungssituationen statt. Hierbei werden die beim Selbstlernen erworbenen Kompetenzen reflektiert und handlungsorientiert vertieft.

In der selbstorganisierten Lernzeit (SOL) lernen Teilnehmende selbstständig und die Lernbegleitenden stehen bei Fragen zur Verfügung. Im SOL eignen sich die Teilnehmenden durch die Bearbeitung weiterer Handlungssituationen das zur Bewältigung der zukünftigen Aufgaben als SiFa erforderliche Know-how an und vertiefen es.

Ziel der Praktika (PRA) ist die Anwendung des Gelernten in der betrieblichen Praxis im eigenen Unternehmen mit dem Ziel, reale Probleme im eigenen Betrieb lösen zu können.
